Schoening Funeral Service is conveniently located in the heart of downtown Kamloops in the central business district. Schoening’s location at 513 Seymour Street was originally constructed in 1960 and then underwent extensive renovation in1991. The chapel at Schoening’s has a seating capacity of 150 but can be reconfigured to accommodate a much larger group. The state of the art audio visual system in the chapel allows families to incorporate DVD’s, VHS or CD’s into the funeral service.

Immediately adjacent to the chapel is the chapel tea room. The tea room offers fully catered reception facilities for families and friends to gather and share memories and fellowship following the funeral service. Both the Schoening chapel and tea room offer wheelchair access.

On site parking is available for up to 16 vehicles and the City of Kamloops offers several parking facilities within a short walking distance of the Schoening chapel. For out-of town friends and family who are attending services at Schoening’s there are several reasonably priced hotels and motels within close proximity that offer bereavement rates as well as several nearby restaurants.
